I know I've said it before, but Tyler is definitely my handful. He already loves to pester his brother and sister and now the poor dog. He thinks he's so funny too. He'll do something that usually hurts & then he'll laugh and laugh. Earlier today he was tugging softly on Libby's ponytail & then giggling so cute. I ran to get my camera. And then it progressed to this....

Looking so sweet he notices an opportunity to pester.

He starts with a minor pull.

AND
THEN

The picture tells it all!!
(Sorry Libby!)
I think We are in trouble with this little guy!
You should of heard his laugh when he was done.

Surgery Day For Pa-Pa

Today was finally surgery day for Pa-Pa Steen. It was a 4 hour surgery with an hour recovery time. So, it was good news when we heard he was back in his room & doing Ok. He ended up with two incisions that I'm sure will take some time to heal. You're in our prayers dad & we LOVE you!!

I had to post a picture with JUST You & Libby.
The last time she said, "Oh it's no fair that Zack & Tyler get their own picture with grandpa."

Zack & Tyler

Zack & Tyler kind of have a love/hate relationship. Tyler already pesters Zack on purpose. So the other day Zack was tired of him and started rolling him down the hallway to me. When he got to the door he said, "Special Delivery!" Tyler wasn't too happy, but I was laughing!

And
this is how I found the two of them the other day!
They look like trouble, don't they?

Libby's Program

We are a little behind on posts, but a few weeks ago Libby had her First Grade Program. Her program was called, "Working Together". She was a little girl named Veronica in the play. She did a great Job and remembered all of her lines. She had 4 speaking parts. Her class did a great job singing too! We love Ya Libby!!!

Here is a picture of her walking out, after finishing her program.

Tyler's Appetite is back!!

So the last few days Tyler has been a demon baby! I knew there had to be something wrong so we took him to the doctor & the poor kid did have a double ear infection. All I can say is thank goodness for antibiotics! He is finally feeling a little better. He also got back his appetite! When he enjoys his food he hums and eats more. That's how you know he likes his meal. He definitely enjoyed his dinner tonight!!

Book Tag

I have been tagged by Amber. Here are the rules.
1. Pick up the nearest book (at least 123 pages)
2. Turn to page 123
3. Find the 5th sentence
4. Post the 5th sentence on your blog
5. Tag 5 people

On the desk is Libby's school book, Adventures Of The Superkids.

"A foolish man I will not be."

Libby was cute.....she was going off track so her teacher was picking out a book for her to keep at home. Libby says to me, "Mom I must be reading on like a 10 year olds level because my teacher kept taking books off the shelf and saying, "nope, that ones not hard enough." Then she had to go clear to the back of the shelf to find me this one." I guess that school experience gave her a boost of confidence!! She's a silly one! It's fun to see her enjoying books.

I tag: Lise, Denette, Natallee, Denise & Ali

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TYLER!!!

OUR
TYLER MAX
"LIGHTNING MCQUEEN"
PETERSON

Turns ONE!!

He thinks he is so BIG!

He loves to sneak in the bathroom & climb on the stool & yell at himself in the mirror.

Not only does he climb... he tries to escape through all the gates to get to the stairs!

Did we mention he is going through the terrible two's already!

In the last year it feels like he has "taken control" of the Peterson Pad!
It's lucky he's CUTE!!

For his birthday dinner we went to Spaghetti Mama's.
As you can see he LOVED his dinner!

He's saying....I"m ONE!

He couldn't get enough....maybe because there was more spaghetti on him than in his mouth.

He wasn't too interested in gifts!
BUT
He loves Zack's Hummer!
After dinner he sat and played in that for quite some time!
What can we say? He already loves to drive!!
Thank goodness he's not 16 yet!

WE LOVE YA TYLER!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Welcome Home Grandma & Grandpa Peterson!!

Everyone waiting with signs & balloons.

Grandma & Grandpa coming down the escalators after a long flight from Denmark!

All the kids running up to them for hugs.

April Fools

So today when we woke up Libby handed Steve a note that was folded up and when he opened it up, this is what it said.....

Then she said, "April Fools!"
Of course she handed it to me next....that was a good one Libby! I thought you really were in trouble!

Then when we were eating breakfast Steve says, "Kids, your mom & I have something to talk to you about ( I'm thinking to myself, we do?). I got a new job in San Diego, so we will be moving there. Libby says, " I don't want to move there, I love it at this house!" Then I said, that's in California & she said, "ok."
Then he yelled, "APRIL FOOLS!"

Libby said later, "We have never celebrated April Fools before." What can we say? She is learning so much at school! (ha-ha)

Funnies by Zackary

My Zack is always cracking me up with his little comments. Here a few of his most recent:

  • This morning he finished his cereal & says,
"I'm full, look how much I ate." Then I replied, "That's good at least you're not hungry anymore." Then he says, "I really never was so hungry, I just wanted to be good."
What a sweet boy he is...we have a hard time getting him to eat, but I still hope he'll want to be GOOD in his teenage years!

  • Yesterday we were eating a snickerdoodle & I said,
"mmm... these cookies are SO soft!" Then he said, "Yea, they're so soft I could lay on them.

  • We were driving in the car & he said,
"Mom, maybe when it gets warmer we could like go to Disneyland or Lagoon or something."
    Sounds good to me Zacky!
  • He comes up to me & asks,
"Why was Cinderella bad at soccer?" I don't know, why? Because she kept running away from the ball!"

  • We were picking out a birthday present for Tyler and Zack says,
"I think he wants building blocks & this lawnmower, mom."
Hmm...I think that's what Zack wanted!
AND MY FAVORITE ONE....

  • Steve was telling him that it was time to go & he asked,
"Why?" and Steve teasingly replied with, "because I'm the boss, that's why!" and Zack said, "No, mom's the boss!"
Oh, he is such a smart boy! (he-he)

Since we have taken a few pictures of Tyler with a chocolate face, he came up to me one day with this cute face & said, "look at me mom!" Of course, I have to post his chocolate mustache on my blog too!
