Sophie...18 Months Old

I still can't believe my little lady is already a year and a half!
She has added so much joy to our family & keeps getting cuter & funnier by the day.
 A few things about her...

1-Her favorite word is "NO!"
2-She LOVES shoes...
She always finds some in  my closet!

3-She has started to put 2 words together.
(The first time was saying goodbye to Zack's best friend.  She yelled, "Bye-Bye No-ah!"  It was so cute!)

4-She Loves to talk on the phone...especially to Grandma, Shelly, Pa-Pa & Sher-eh  or Nana (Sherry).

5-Her favorite food is Mac & Cheese, Noo-Noo's (Ramen) & any fruit!

6-She is addicted to an Eric Church song called, "Springsteen".
 She calls it "whoa-whoa".
She will bring the phone to me & say "whoa-whoa" and that means she wants me to play the song!
She sings along & just stares at his picture...it's SO cute!  I think she might have her first crush!!

7- She loves books & calls hair bows "cute" now!

8- She had her first haircut last week...if you could call it that!
She finally has some hair & it's got a lot of  red!

9- She is becoming quite the helper...
This is how she pushes the shopping cart!
And
She set the table all by herself last night...
She found these plates in a cupboard & knew right where to put them!
(I wish the "helping" phase lasted longer...notice her older siblings on the couch watching T.V.!)

 10-She loves to go shopping...
We might be in trouble...she already found the charge card!!
Ty-Ty is her favorite shopping buddy!

11- She still loves her glasses & started to wear her "cute" again, which makes her mama happy!
 I LOVE bows!!!

12-She loves to go outside, she calls it "side".

13-Her best friend is Mickey...
 She LOVES that dog!!

She is always giving him hugs & kisses!

What can we say?  We LOVE this little "CHEESE"!!
She really does brighten our day!!

The Pinewood Derby...

Last night was the Pinewood Derby...my boys get so excited for this!
They had quite a few late nights with their dad finishing up their cars!
They were really into it this year & got a book at the library & tried a few new things on the car this year.
Zack even did some of the sanding!
The work payed off, Zack placed 4th overall!  He was one excited boy!
He also won the award for most personalized car!
Tyler got to race his car a few times at the end!
Zack also got to help with the opening flag ceremony!
I also forgot to mention that Zack received his Wolf Cub Scout Badge.
Here he is giving me the pin.
He definitely loves scouts!

Fall...

It has been a beautiful Fall this year!
We went to the pumpkin patch last Friday to get our pumpkins for carving...It was a gorgeous day!
The kids always love coming here & loading up their wagons!
We got some pretty good ones this year...
 Tyler
Libby & Sophie
I love to decorate with them!
The kids are already planning how they'll carve them!

Another thing we have been enjoying lately is building a fire in the backyard & making smores...
We scored this little outdoor fireplace on clearance for $17 bucks & it's definitely something we enjoy!
It actually makes some yummy smores!
Then we end our night with some basketball & double-dutch jump roping...Zack holds the record for the most jumps!
Even Tyler has figured out how to do it!
I hope falls stays around for a while....it's one of my favorite seasons!!

The Brigham City Temple...

We were able to attend the Brigham City Temple Open House.
We started the tour with a bus ride to the temple.
It was quite the ride...Sophie enjoyed it!
We were pretty sure the buses had not been used for quite some time :)
On the ride back the brakes shook the whole bus & made a lot of noise, but the bus did stop!
It was quite the adventure!
We went on a Saturday & there was quite the crowd.  The line reminded me of Disneyland, it kept going & going & going, but when we did make it through the doors it was absolutely beautiful!
There was beautiful woodwork & such pretty stained glass windows!
The celestial room was amazing & actually gave me the chills when we walked through.
It's funny, but we entered & exited the temple from the back side so the only picture I got of the front was through the bus window on the ride back to the car!
It was neat for my kids to go through another temple!
You can see the post about the Draper Temple HERE.
My kids were so little!!

My Cowboys & Cowgirls...

My kids' had a great time at Brooklyn's 5th birthday party this year!
Brooklyn & Tyler are both 5!

Libby LOVES horses so she was excited to go to their house.
I got a few cute pictures!

Here is Zack lassoing a bull...

He got pretty good by the end!

Then Steve gave it a try!
 He's a goof ball!

Libby also tried it out...
 She loved it!

All of the kids loved the horses...
That horse was hoping Tyler had a snack!
 It was a fun night!

Steen Campout 2012

Every year my Dad plans a camp out in September.
Sophie & Her "Pa-Pa"
He always reserves everyone that can come a campsite & treats us all to Mexican dinner in Ephraim on Friday night.  We always meet my uncle & aunt (Tom & Norma) that night too.  I wish I got a picture this year!
I wasn't as good at taking pictures because I was following this little lady ALL over!
She loves being "side" (outside) and she never stopped moving!
I think she crossed this bridge a hundred times a day while we were there!
Thank heavens grandma would take a turn walking her!
Tyler loved it too!
The kids had so much fun this year...they played on the playground, rode bikes, went swimming  & found an old pile of junk with old playground equipment & made their own "playground" & of course they always love to roast marshmallows at night too.  They were so busy playing together that I don't think we even used the 4-wheeler's this year.  My Dad & Steve went on one ride.

Here are a few pictures we took...

The pool was FREEZING!  It always is, but we were still glad it was open!
 Davey, Tyler & Adam
 The kids always have fun!
 Jazzy
Adam & Sophie
Sophie actually got in with me and loved it...even though it was FREEZING!  She amazes me!

Zack waking up for a breakfast of champs...a powdered doughnut!
 Campfire fun!
Whenever Sophie sees the camera she now says, "Cheese!"
She's just so cute, we are always taking her picture!
Tyler & Sophie are our early birds...
They always wake up before everyone else!

Saturday night Tom & Norma brought us a dutch oven dinner & as always it was delicious!!
It was another great time!!
Thanks Mom & Dad and Norma & Tom!
