CHRISTMAS 2008

CHRISTMAS EVE

We always have a great Christmas Eve at my Parent's house. We Celebrate with my Dad's brother Roy & his wife Anne. We celebrate using Norwegian traditions, but for some reason we didn't take too many pictures this year, but it was a great night!

Wow... What a cheeseball!!

Brooklyn giving Tyler a kiss...aren't they cute?

Treats for Santa.
Libby is a funny girl! She read a story about how Santa was on a diet, so she said we had to leave him one healthy snack....she left him a nutri-grain bar!

Zack & Libby...
They also left Santa a Christmas card this year.

CHRISTMAS MORNING

Waiting for dad to give them the signal to come downstairs.

Mickey even got a gift...he's already chewing on it in the picture!

Libby must of been a very good girl this year...she FINALLY got an American Girl doll!

Zack will finally have some Bakugans to play with his best friend Noah!

Tyler LOVES his new drums!!

Christmas afternoon we go to my parents & we have Norwegian pancakes, unwrap presents & eat dinner. Grandma & Grandpa sure spoil us!! We love you!!

Me & Libby

I can't believe how few pictures we took...but I did get this cute one of Brooklyn

She sure LOVES her new babies....they received lots of kisses!!

We have had a very busy Christmas season with a lot of fun parties. We Celebrated everyday this week. It all started on Tuesday at Steve's parents house. They had all of the adult couples over for a Danish dinner & they shared stories with us about their mission. We learned about the Danish customs & had dinner on their new china. It was very nice, but once again Steve & I did a poor job of taking pictures.

Thanks Gary & Marilyn!

We also went back to their house on Friday for the family party & had a very nice evening!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas too!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

All I Want For Christmas Is My TWO Front Teeth!!

Zack had a very Busy day!

He lost both front teeth...all in one day!!
What a great smile!

Funny Boys!!

They are so excited for Christmas!
They got these Santa hats from the dollar store & they wear them every night to bed!

Tyler...what a cheese!!

This is how we found him this morning...wearing Zack's underwear.
We asked him if he wanted to start going potty on the real toilet, he answered, "NO!"
I guess he just likes to dress up!

'Tis The Season...

Our December has been off to a busy start so far with decorating...

The trees are up

"My" tree

Libby, Zack & Tyler's tree

The stockings were hung with care...

And the parties have begun!!
Friday was Steve's work party which is always a super nice dinner
and Saturday was the traditional Andersen party (all of my mom's extended family)
I remember this being a favorite from childhood...food, basketball, a pinata & gifts. Some things never change... now it's my kids that look forward to it.

My cute mom still pulled the party together after being sick for 2 weeks before!! We love you mom!!

Arriving at the party

Pinata time!!
Look at all of those kids lining up...too bad only 1/2 of them got to take swing before it burst open...

Tyler got a chance

An action shot of Zack

The kids gathering their goods!
Even though the pinata didn't last as long as we would have liked....the boys put it to good use!

Dallin, John & Josh

Tyler with his favorite cousin "Don"

and of course I have to post at least one picture of Jazzy & Libby.

And finally Sunday night we decorated a gingerbread house...
Libby & Zack did a nice job.

By the end of the night Tyler had eaten the pathway....

But it still looks very cute!!

We are off to a festive start....with much more still to come!!

DADDY'S BOY!

Tyler loves his daddy!!

He talks about him all day long. He'll say, "dad" I'll say he's at work and he'll say, "home". He's ready for him to come home all day long. Then when they are being silly Tyler will say, "DAAD". It so cute!!

THANKSGIVING 2008

We started our morning off by watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV. Our kids were cute this year...there were a few floats that made them pretty excited.

Zack couldn't believe Pikachu was in the pardade

Libby was excited to see the Statue Of Liberty

and
Tyler saw we were taking pictures so he went and stood by the TV for his picture to be taken too.

Finally Santa arrived!!

Then later that day we went to Grandma & Grandpa Peterson's for a yummy thanksgiving dinner & games! Grandma had a thankful tree. We had to write on a leaf what we were thankful for. Libby wrote Mickey Dude, Zack put his family , I put my family & home, Steve put immodium & metamucil! We had a great Thanksgiving & have so much to be thankful for this year!!
