Lagoon Day 2013

Yesterday was the last day of school & Steve's work Lagoon day!

We always have so much fun!

Sophie had a "party" with Shelly so we had fun going on the bigger rides.

Then Tyler decided to try out ...

I was worried for him because the Jet Star II scared him, but he wanted to try anyways!

The funny part is my aunt April and her grand kids were walking off behind Steve & I happened to capture them in the picture!  It was fun to see them there too!

We took a train ride to see the zoo animals...

 A few "monkeys" managed to get on...

 Zack always did love Curious George when he was little!

It was fun because quite a few of the animals were out...

Then of course we always end our night with TREATS!

The kids & I got off a ride & walked up to this cute guy!!

He knows how to spoil us!

Libby Finishes 6th Grade...

I really can't believe Libby has finished Elementary School & is headed to Jr. High!!

This is the last time that they will all be in the same school...

 
Time is definitely flying by too fast!

School Dance Festival 2013

This is the third year that our school has had an end of the year dance festival.

It is so fun to watch each grade perform a dance.

Sophie really enjoyed it!!

Tyler was so cute...

He showed us some pretty good moves at the end!

Luckily, I caught it on video!!

Then the 4th grade did the "Shuffle"...

Zack was looking pretty "cool" with those shades!

These kids will be ready to hit the dance club!

The 6th grade learned a 1940's swing dance...

They did so good! 

 It was so fun to watch!

This was Libby & her dance partner Hayden...

I think they looked cute!

Then I had to get a picture of these cute & silly girls...

 Libby has some of the sweetest friends!

 It's hard to believe they will soon be in Jr. High school!

Then it ended with announcement that some gorillas had escaped from the Zoo...

 It turned out to be the Principal & Vice Principal!!

I LOVE our school!!

Tyler's Kindergarten Graduation...

Tyler has officially finished KINDERGARTEN!

He absolutely loved it!

He also had a perfect report card!

He had the best teacher too...

He adored her!

They put on the best program for us today...we LOVE our school!!

 It's hard to believe they'll be the graduating class of 2025!!

His speaking part was...

 "V" is for vowels...they help us learn to read!

 They sang such cute songs! 

 They also did a slide show with each student's voice & a picture telling us what they want to be when they grow up.

 Tyler said he wanted to be a police officer!

After the program we went back to his classroom for snow cones...

 Sophie was so excited to "go to school"!

 She loves to copy Tyler!

 We sure love you Tyler!!

 You truly are such a sweet & funny kid!

Grandma & Shelly are sure going to miss having you around on Walmart Day!

 We are very proud of you...Keep up the good work!!

 This exciting day sure wore you out...

My boy who NEVER takes a nap slept for over 2 hours this afternoon!!
