The Blue & Gold Banquet...

Last week the scouts had the Blue & Gold Banquet.  

Each year the kids make a cake & they choose a winner for the most creative.

This was Zack's this year...

He made a caterpillar out of cupcakes.

It was another fun night!

Zack's 4th Grade Program...

Zack did a such a good job in his program.  He is so shy, but always does such a good job on his speaking parts!  It was fun to see!

 They sang songs.

 Played the recorder.

 Zack was in the part about the railroad.

 It was cute!

 He did a great job!

 It was fun for him to be a part of.

 This group of kids really had great singing voices too!

It was a great show!

New Beginnings...

I can't believe Libby will be 12 this Summer! 

 Our ward had New Beginnings a few weeks ago & it was so nice.

Each of the girls were spotlighted & given a crown & a rose.
She is now so excited for Young Women's .

Siblings...

I'm so glad my kids have each other!  

Sometimes I look over at them & it melts my heart that they are such good friends!

 These two have so much fun together in the afternoon when Tyler gets done with Kindergarten.

Then Tyler gets SO excited when Zack gets home.  

 Zack is such a good big brother...

 He helps him with homework & always lets him tag-a-long to play with his best friend Noah.

 Zack already gave Tyler an "early" birthday present....his old Healy skate shoes and Tyler just kept hugging him.

Zack doesn't know it yet, but all Tyler talks about is how he is going to save $20 dollars to buy Zack a new Pogo-Stick.  He wants to because Zack's is too small for him. 

 I hope they always stay this sweet to one another.

This is a picture our neighbor took...he called it the "Green Machine" meetup!  They definitely have a lot of fun together!!

Steve's Beard...

It got a little crazy...

Some people liked it, others would call him "Grizzly Adams" & my favorite was "Kenny Rogers"...before all of the surgery!

If you read our Valentine's Day post, you'll understand why we were chanting, 

Just "Go-pher" it Steve...SHAVE!

Let's just say it was a CELEBRATION when Steve finally shaved!

He started growing it out after Christmas & it kept getting longer & more bushy, but he loved it!

So we documented the shaving process so he can always remember what it looked like....

Let's just say there was some CHEERING in the background!

 He started with the sides & made us think he was keeping it like this.  

Then the kids would tackle him...

 

Then he left it a go-tee...

The kids would tackle him & beg him to shave...

Then he left some design on his chin...

And the kids would tackle him...

As you can see this went on for a while,

 but it did get worse...

Not even sure what to call this!

I'm never quite sure what is going through his head!

Who knew in the end it would lead to this...

That just looks like a creepy little catfish!

I'm so glad I finally have my husband back!

Now he says people call him baby Steve at work...I personally think babies are a lot cuter than Kenny Rogers!

Valentine's Day 2013

It was such a fun day for Libby & Jasmine because it was the 6th grade Valentine's Day Dance.  

 They both looked so cute!

I made them pose for a few pictures...

 I think they are just adorable!

 What can I say?  

 They are two of my favorite girls!

 I just can't believe I will have a kid in Jr. High next year!

She'll always be my goofy & sweet girl!!

It turned into a fun night too...we made mini pizzas for dinner  & when Steve got home he brought us cinnamon rolls for dessert, chocolate bars for the kids & some marsipan from See's for me...my favorite!

It turned into a joke, but the kids were watching one of their shows, Good Luck Charlie & on the one part the girl was encouraging someone to do something & they said, " Just Go-Pher it!"  While they made a little gopher face with their hands & teeth.

 Well then we couldn't stop laughing & everyone made a "Go-pher  it" face...

 Zack cracks me up!

 Tyler is such a cute Gopher!

 Sophie just gave me a smile!

Libby & Jazzy are making me laugh even as I type this!

But, no one quite mastered it like Steve...

It's crazy, but with the beard he really looks like one!

 Now that cracks me up!

I love these CrAzY kids!!

I feel so blessed to have all of these little "gophers" in my life!

We definitely had a Happy Valentine's Day!

Jr. Jazz

This was Zack's first year playing basketball.  

He loved it!

Then they got to go to a real Jazz game & we got some extra tickets & went with him...
