One night this summer we went to the Japanese Obon Festival downtown.
Steve went to Japan on his mission & wanted to check it out.
It was a fun little street festival with food, shops & people dancing in the traditional Japanese clothes. It was fun!
Libby bought the cute umbrella & the boys got some awesome swords!
Sophie loved the music....

It was the best $2 we ever spent.
He loved it!
Like I said, he makes us smile!
He said, "Hey mom look I have bunny ears!"
Then he hid behind the fan!
After that we walked down to the Gateway & let the kids play in the fountains.
They were soaked from head to toe by the time we left!!
Libby was so sweet to chase Sophie around...
It turned out to be a fun night!
