Liberty's 5th Grade Program

At the end of March, Libby performed in the 5th grade program at school!
It was a Patriotic Program & they have been practicing a lot for this!!

She had a lot of fun & had a speaking part with Jasmine about their Grandpa Steen.
This is what they said,
"I was born in Norway in 1941. The first few years of my life were during WWII. German Soldiers had occupied our town. I remember once, my Dad found a bomb fragment that had hit our house & broken one of our windows. The bomb had exploded several miles away on ammunition ships in the harbor. After the war people in our neighborhood took sugar sandwiches to feed the Russian prisoners of war. The sandwiches consisted of white bread, spread with butter, and sugar sprinkled on top.
Norman Steen: Grandfather of Liberty Peterson & Jasmine Roos"
They both did a great job!

Then she got to dance the "50's" Swing in a poodle skirt!
She loved this!
And had been practicing for weeks...usually in the kitchen!

Then we got a few pictures with her best friends...
These girls are so sweet!

Then we had to get a picture with one of her biggest "fans"!
Libby & Tyler

It was a great performance & now we have to get a picture with Libby, Jasmine & Grandpa! He had to leave at the end for a dental appointment.
Good Job, Libby & Jasmine!!
