Our December has been off to a busy start so far with decorating...

And the parties have begun!!
Friday was Steve's work party which is always a super nice dinner
and Saturday was the traditional Andersen party (all of my mom's extended family)
I remember this being a favorite from childhood...food, basketball, a pinata & gifts. Some things never change... now it's my kids that look forward to it.
My cute mom still pulled the party together after being sick for 2 weeks before!! We love you mom!!

Even though the pinata didn't last as long as we would have liked....the boys put it to good use!

And finally Sunday night we decorated a gingerbread house...
Libby & Zack did a nice job.
By the end of the night Tyler had eaten the pathway....
But it still looks very cute!!
We are off to a festive start....with much more still to come!!
