Snow Day...

I love that we live in a place with seasons!

There's nothing quite like the first "big" snow...

My kids were in heaven!

They built snow forts...

 Libby barely fit in hers...

Zack, Noah & Tyler...

 Sophie loves the snow...

 She plays out there for hours!

Libby is so good with her!

Then they moved on to sledding & snowboarding down our hill...

It's more fun with Christmas lights up...

Tyler made it to the bottom...

 These boys have been doing this everyday after school!

 It's fun to watch!

 Steve was having fun in the snow too!

Winter has arrived!!

Zack's A Super Nova....

Zack participated in the N.O.V.A Program at school.  

A police officer comes & teaches the kids about making good choices in life.  They also teach them about the affects of drugs too.  Zack wrote an essay & went a whole week without any media.  

We went to the awards program, but had to leave about 15 minutes early for an orthodontist appointment.  At the end, the police officer picks one student that they think should receive the

 "Super Nova" award....Zack was picked!  

We were so sad we had to leave early & miss it, but we still got a picture.

I'm so proud of him!  Keep up the good work, Zack!

Grandma's Birthday...

My mom turned "71" this year...

 She had canceled Sunday dinner because she would already be cooking Thanksgiving dinner that week, so we had my parents over for dinner.

 My mom loves Tinkerbell & so does Sophie!

She helped grandma blow out the candles...

 I love you Mom!  

You're still my best friend after all of these years!!

Enjoying The Last Of Fall...

The last few days of fall were beautiful!

 After we finished cleaning up all of the leaves, it was time for some fun!

We feel a little more ready for winter now, I've been raking & mowing leaves for weeks!

Halloween 2013...

We had a great Halloween!

We started the morning going to the school parade...

Zack dressed up as "George Weasley"

  

Zack & his best friend Noah were quite the pair as "Fred & George" Weasley from Harry Potter.

Next, came Harry Potter himself...

 

 Tyler looked great!

The 5th grade performed thriller...

 

Zack was towards the back & did awesome.

 

Sophie & Grandma enjoyed the show...

We got the candy ready & dressed up!

Noah came over to go trick or treating with the kids.

  I always get their pictures on the porch before they head out...

 

Then our camera took a few "spooky" pictures...

Steve morphed into a pumpkin?

Then Sophie finished up early & helped me pass out candy.

 

She'd pass out the candy and say, "Happy Halloween"!

 

Then the older kids came back later with their pillowcases full!
