Davey...

On April 16, 2015 our sweet cousin and nephew was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma.
He had been having pain in his leg for a few months and they assumed it was growing pains.
They took him in to get it checked when it wasn't getting better and they found a tumor, just above his left femur.
He is such an amazing boy!
He has such amazing strength and courage.
He's has endured many rounds of chemotherapy and on July 10, 2015 he had surgery on his leg.
This removed the tumor and they actually took his foot and flipped it.  It will act as his "knee".  His prothesis will eventually fit on there.  It is quite amazing and he was a complete champ!
He really has kept such high spirits and has had such a great attitude!
His whole family is an amazing example of strength and courage...
We sure love them all!
We are still keeping him in our prayers!
Go Team Davey!!

Gunnar & Christine...

It was so fun to have my Dad's cousin Gunnar and his wife Christine come and visit from Switzerland!
These are two of the most generous and kind people you could ever meet!
Our family fell in love with them!
 My dad & Gunnar

Then a few weeks into July his daughter Turid & her husband Truls and their two boys Felix & Lucas came from Norway to visit!
We had a lot of fun shopping, going out to eat & hanging out with them.
We celebrated Lucas' Birthday at Chuck-a-Rama...
 He loves anything Batman!
We wanted to show Christine "Gardner Village" and had to get a picture with each of the kids as a lifeguard...

4th Of July 2015...

We started celebrating with Libby's birthday lunch at Asian Star.
It's hard to believe our "4th Of July" girl is 14!
We sure love her!

She is such a great daughter and sister.
Then that night we had everyone over to celebrate!

It was a great party with a great firework show!
It was a little scary when one of the big ones shot out at the crowd, but now we've learned that you put bricks around them so they don't tip! Poor Porter and Jazzy got some sawdust in their eyes, but luckily they were ok!
Happy 4th Of July!!

Las Vegas...

Steve was headed there for a conference for work and at the last minute, I decided to join him!
Thanks to Shelly and my mom for helping with the kids.
We had so much fun!
It was relaxing for me, even though he had to work most of the time.
We stayed at the Palazzo...
This room was gorgeous and spacious!
The bathroom was almost as big as most hotel rooms.

It was fun because there are a bunch of shops right in the hotel.
I also LOVE the Bellagio, the dancing fountains are always a favorite to see.
My favorite part of the whole trip...
We actually got to go to a show!
It was the Beatles "LOVE" Cirque du Soleil.
 It was AMAZING!
 The music was awesome too!
I'm so glad we got to see it!
A lady I met at the pool told me I need to take the kids to the Michael Jackson "One" show and that The "O" show is so amazing too.  Something to plan for our next trip to Vegas.

Cub Country...

Tyler got to attend Cub Country this year.
I was able to go with him one of the days and it was a fun day!
Here he is shooting the bb guns.
A picture of him doing the adventure course.
We also got to see them retire a flag by fire, which was really interesting to see. They did a whole special ceremony for it.
My favorite part is the toys they can buy at the store...it's crazy what they sell!
He came home with disappearing ink and a whip!
Scouts is always an adventure!
