ROLLERCOASTER RIDE!!

It has been an interesting month....

Steve bought this....

So we start looking for a new house that might fit it in the garage (our 3rd car garage is a foot short) & we find one. They accept our offer, so we try to sell this...


I drive Steve crazy...one day I want to move the next I don't.
We have the inspector come to the new house....
I get a bad feeling...everywhere I look needs work! "uh-oh" the boat won't actually fit!!
Finally, an answer to my prayers!!
Yeah!! I don't have to pack....at least for now!!

So this morning...
I turn around & this is how I find my Tyler Man!!

He had put on Zack's pirate hat & Zack's shoes....he was just standing there so proud of himself!!

Now that Zack is in Kindergarten he has free reign of the house, toys & shoes!!

He is either making his mother laugh or making me crazy!!

At a moment like that who couldn't love the little cheese ball!!!
He even color coordinated his Jammies & hat!!

Camping Fun!!

So we had our annual 4-wheeling, camping trip with my family. This was the first year we all could make it. It was a lot of fun. It started Friday with setting up camp and going to our favorite Mexican restaurant with my aunt Norma & Uncle Tom. Then Saturday was a day of fun....4-wheeling, badminton, chasing grasshoppers & hanging out. That night we had a dutch oven dinner hosted by my aunt & uncle. It was delicious!!

What a fun weekend!!

Our "NEW" dog!!

So about a week ago we took Mickey in for his first grooming. We just thought he was getting a shampoo & a trim. Well, I was shocked when I picked our dog up & he got a little more than a trim. He now looks like a poodle!!! He can now see though, which he loves. He finds all kinds of stuff. Today we found him with this pacifier in his mouth! He is such a funny dog....at least he found something to comfort him after his bad haircut!!

At first, it didn't even look like the same dog. Then when he did his funny little bark, Libby said, "now that's our dog for sure!!"

He has really enjoyed his first 2 days...when my sister asked him how his day was he just did the thumbs up!

On Saturday Tyler walked in front of Zack while he was swinging with his soccer cleats on. His foot smacked into Tyler's collar bone. It was a long experience at the doctor's office because from the 1st x-ray the doctor couldn't tell if it broke in or out....if it broke in, it could puncture a lung or another organ. So, three x-rays later (which traumatized poor Ty man) we finally found out it broke the right way. We were very blessed!! So now he gets to sport around his nice sling for a few weeks. As you can see by the picture above the break hasn't slowed down my little "ham" at all!!!

Libby had her "FIRST" day of school on Monday....

Our Zack can't already be starting kindergarten??
Time flies....

Zack is such a great kid! He was born while Steve was in Iraq, so for a little while his nickname was Zacky, "The Iraqi". He has been such a sweet boy from the start. He has given his mom a few scares though.
When he was a week old he was hospitalized for a few days because they thought his temperature could be caused by meningitis. He had to have 2 spinal taps & was given antibiotics. Luckily it was just viral & he was ok.

You can see the IV mark in his hand.

Then when he was three months old he had to have surgery on his head because his soft spot closed up too soon. They took out a bone in his forehead & made slits in the back of his skull. He now has a scar that goes from ear to ear on his head. He was so strong & brave & recovered quickly. Which I was glad for because the army wouldn't let Steve come home for the surgery.

Just a week later & he was all smiles...we love those dimples!!

As you can see he was my HAPPY baby!!




He still is a happy kid with a great heart, who always thinks of others!!
