LaGooN DaY

Libby & Zack had been counting down the days for Lagoon. It finally arrived!!

We go every year with Steve's work. It is always a fun adventure! This year was a little more work with Tyler, but the kids still had fun!! Libby & Zack discovered a new favorite ride....the big swings that go over the water. Of course we couldn't leave without sharing our favorite treats (Icee, caramel apple & a cinnamon roll) It's always fun to make "Lagoon" memories!

SUNDAY DINNER WITH THE RENEGADES!!

Every Sunday we go to my parent's house for dinner & a few Sundays ago was a great one for the kids. Pa-pa pulled out his 4-wheeler for rides in the backyard. The kids' favorite aunt Shelly had supplied them all with squirt guns to add to the fun, so we couldn't help but get a few pictures of Pa-pa with his "posse"!

JUST STOP BUYING STUFF DAD!!

So we have been giving our kids a few lessons on saving their money for things that they want to buy. We were talking about how it can sometimes take a long time to save for things we really want to buy. This morning they were getting ready for church and Libby & Zack said, "If dad wants to buy a boat, he needs to stop buying stuff! Yea, like golf clubs." Then they went and shared their advice with Steve. I couldn't help but laugh at the way their minds think! Then Steve was telling Zack how he has to spend his money on things like food & Zack says, "no, mom buys all of our food!" (he's my grocery shopping buddy) Steve & I couldn't help but laugh at our funny kids! I guess they are listening & understanding the concept of money a little bit!! Someday Steve will stop buying "stuff" and be able to get his boat!!

Our Drama King!!

So Tyler is our CrAzY kid! He is either yelling or screaming or making us laugh. Today he's crawling up the stairs and bonked his head on the stair. I give him a kiss & hug & then he does it again... only this time on purpose. He "softly" bonks his head & does a fake cry & looks at me. He continued to do this like 3 times! He is a little actor when he wants attention. I guess he did the same thing in priesthood on Sunday. He fell going down the stairs in the chapel & got hurt so Steve picked him up and comforted him & then Tyler went back up the stairs....this time on purpose and curls in a little ball and slowly reenacts the same fall & does the fake cry. A guy in our ward was still laughing as he was telling me about his little "fall". He is a silly One!!

Our Little "CEO"

This morning we went to an awards ceremony for Libby. She was chosen as the CEO (Chief Example to Others) for her class. She got a certificate & T-shirt from her principal & he read a letter that her teacher wrote on why she was chosen. She is a sweet girl & we are glad she's being a good example to others! We Love Ya Libby!!!
