School Dance Festival 2013

This is the third year that our school has had an end of the year dance festival.

It is so fun to watch each grade perform a dance.

Sophie really enjoyed it!!

Tyler was so cute...

He showed us some pretty good moves at the end!

Luckily, I caught it on video!!

Then the 4th grade did the "Shuffle"...

Zack was looking pretty "cool" with those shades!

These kids will be ready to hit the dance club!

Good job, Zack!

The 6th grade learned a 1940's swing dance...

They did so good! 

 It was so fun to watch!

This was Libby & her dance partner Hayden...

I think they looked cute!

Then I had to get a picture of these cute & silly girls...

 Libby has some of the sweetest friends!

 It's hard to believe they will soon be in Jr. High school!

Then it ended with announcement that some gorillas had escaped from the Zoo...

 It turned out to be the Principal & Vice Principal!!

I LOVE our school!!

Tyler's Kindergarten Graduation...

Tyler has officially finished KINDERGARTEN!

He absolutely loved it!

He also had a perfect report card!

He had the best teacher too...

He adored her!

They put on the best program for us today...we LOVE our school!!

 It's hard to believe they'll be the graduating class of 2025!!

His speaking part was...

 "V" is for vowels...they help us learn to read!

 They sang such cute songs! 

 They also did a slide show with each student's voice & a picture telling us what they want to be when they grow up.

 Tyler said he wanted to be a police officer! 

(Just like his Grandpa Steen)

After the program we went back to his classroom for snow cones...

 Sophie was so excited to "go to school"!

 She loves to copy Tyler!

 We sure love you Tyler!!

 You truly are such a sweet & funny kid!

Grandma & Shelly are sure going to miss having you around on Walmart Day!

 We are very proud of you...Keep up the good work!!

 This exciting day sure wore you out...

My boy who NEVER takes a nap slept for over 2 hours this afternoon!!

Kindergarten Zoo Day...

It's hard to believe I have another kid finishing up Kindergarten! 

Today was Tyler's Zoo field trip.  We had a lot of fun!

They had the new "Lego" exhibits, which were pretty neat.

 Here are the Penguins...

 The Lego Polar Bear was our favorite...

Tyler & Sophie had a lot of fun together!

They were excited to find the Giraffe's...

 We got to see the baby too!

 We also found the apes & monkeys!

 Tyler is growing so fast!!

 His smile is so cute...

I had to keep taking his picture!

 Tyler did his zoo report on a lion...

It looks like one will be at the zoo next year!

Grandma & Sophie had fun too!

 They enjoyed watching these monkeys...

 Then we found what we had been looking for all day...

 The elephants!

 Tyler got sprayed by this one!!

 Sophie was so excited to find them!!

 Then they stepped on the scale to see how they compare to an elephant...

 Sophie is so light it didn't even register!

Tyler weighed in at 52 pounds.

They Tyler was so excited to find his friend Max...

Our favorite animal of the day was this polar bear...

He was so active!

 He kept diving in the water & floating on his back...so cute!

 

 I think these bears were best friends, they kept playing in the river together!

It kind of reminded me of these two...

 Tyler is so cute with Sophie!

What can we say? 

 We adore this kid...

 

And his toothless grin!!
