Christmas Day 2012

It's hard to believe Christmas is already over, but it was a great day!

My kids always wait at the top of  the stairs...

Steve joined in this year...he was so excited!

Tyler worked REALLY hard to be on the good list this year & I think it paid off! 

He got his Green Machine!

Libby & Zack must of been good too!!  The three of them will have a lot of fun driving those around!
Sophie walked down saw her doll & kitchen set & played there the rest of the time we unwrapped our gifts!
I always love the gifts the kids make us...

 Tyler made a cute book about a fish tank for Steve.

Zack made us a calendar with his picture in every month...so cute!
Libby made me a cute jar filled with rocks & a flower...I didn't get a picture!
It was a great Christmas...

 All of our kids were very happy!!

Later we went to my parent's to unwrap gifts & EAT!

I really don't know how my Mom manages party after party, but she's awesome!
It was a wonderful day!

Christmas Eve 2012

It was another great Christmas Eve. 

 We always spend it at my parent's house with Roy & Anne.  This year Erik & Lilly came too.

I forgot my camera, so these are a few picture we took with Steve's phone.

 Christmas Eve is always fun because we celebrate using a lot of  the Norwegian customs.  

Anne always makes the yummy rice pudding! Whoever gets the almond in their bowl, wins a marsipan pig.

After 14 years, Steve finally won...

He was surprised!

This year instead of the marsipan pig it was a box of chocolates!

Then Santa & his elves bring up the gifts, I think I have a video of some of this, but don't have a picture.  Sophie was freaking out...Santa isn't her favorite!  Then Bailey took off the beard to show her who he was!

Then Shelly gave all of the kids a laser flash light...

 All of the kids had a lot of fun with them!

They weren't suppose to shine other people in the eye!! 

I think Bailey was OK though!

 Zack loved his football!

 Libby got some fun things.

It was Dave's birthday & Zack made him this gift...

 He drew an elephant because it's Dave's favorite animal. 

I was amazed that he was able to draw it!

He said it was for Shelly too!
