Weekend of Celebrations...

We celebrated Easter, My parent's 45th wedding anniversary & Tyler's 3rd birthday!

Tyler's birthday...

I can't believe my baby is THREE!

His birthday celebration lasted all weekend...We sang to him at Grandma & Grandpa Peterson's on Friday, went out for his birthday dinner on Saturday & then his real birthday came on Easter Sunday.

I always ask him, "Where did you come from?" He is always making us laugh!

We never did get a picture without the crazy faces!!
He was very spoiled by everyone this year!

He wanted a birthday cake with birdies & bunnies...Libby & Zack had fun decorating it.

He got a "mean" dragon and a fun coloring book!

EASTER FUN...

My kids were very happy on Easter morning!
We watched conference & got ready for the party.

Most of the grandkids getting ready for the Easter egg hunt!

My mom & dad have all of us over every Sunday for dinner, since we hadn't celebrated their anniversary & it was Tyler's birthday we had them over this week. My mom still did all the hard work of filling all the eggs, writing their names on them & hiding them! The kids had a good time & we never did find all of them! Because I love pictures, I always take too many so here is a slide show of all the fun!

Easter Fun...

Our Easter celebrating started on Friday at Grandma & Grandpa Peterson's!

The kids had so much fun hunting for eggs, decorating chocolate eggs, picking prizes & singing happy birthday to Tyler.

Because of the snow the egg hunt was in the family room.

Since it is conference next Sunday, the kids wore their Easter clothes to church this week. They are at a stage where it is hard to get a "real" smile! So here are a few of my favorites...

Libby has a BEST friend this year at school. Her name is Emmy & she is moving (this is not good)! Tonight Libby had gone to bed and came back out of her room (this isn't a huge surprise) but this time she was sobbing. She could hardly get the words out that she is going to miss her friend....it breaks my heart! It is so hard for me to see my kids sad & know that I can't do anything to change the situation. We finally decided that she should take her camera tomorrow and take some pictures. I'll have to add those pictures to this post then. My Miss Liberty is so tender hearted and I'm afraid we are just beginning on this emotional/daughter stuff!

Zack is the "Chief Example To Others" this month at school.

I can't believe he is already in 1st grade.


The principal gave him a certificate that his teacher wrote about him.

It said, "Zackary always does his best work. He takes his time to use neat handwriting and coloring. He is honest with his friends and teacher."

Good Job, Zack!! We love you!
