Happy Mother's Day!

I have the most amazing mom! I adore her! I truly don't know what I'd do without her. She has so many talents & skills that I admire! As I've gone through life I realize more & more how much I have been blessed to have her as my mom. She has taught me so much & is always there when I need her. My dad teases that they forgot to cut the umbilical cord...but I'm so glad we are so close & such good friends!! I hope you had a wonderful day!!

Libby is always his good little helper! She also gave me the sweetest present. It was a frame with a list of reasons she loved me. I love the things kids say!

Zack was so cute this morning....He gave me his presents that he had made me at school, but then he teared up & said he wanted to do one more thing for me, but he couldn't. I asked him what it was & he said, "I wanted to bring you breakfast in bed." (we have early church so that wasn't really an option for our "not so early bird" family.) I told him not to cry because he could make me lunch after church. Then he said, "OK, but you have to get back in bed!" So this is a picture of me on the couch "bed" eating my yummy lunch!! Thanks Zack!!

Tired....

Today was Zack's first day back at school after a 2 week break....it must of been exhausting!
This is how I found him at 7:00pm. I thought he was just watching cartoons. He wouldn't wake up so I put him to bed where hopefully he stays through the night!!

Viva Las Vegas!!

We had a great weekend in Vegas...

Of course we always enjoy the great food!

When Libby got her dessert she was so cute and said, "I think I'm in paradise!"


For dessert Zack just had a cotton candy...almost the size of his head!

Tyler really enjoyed his "Thomas The Train" ride. He said, "thanks Thomas" when we got off.


We waited & waited for the volcano at the Mirage to go off...but it was too windy that night so it never did, but Tyler enjoyed the ride on Pa-Pa's shoulders!



Then Saturday we went to Caesar's Palace...the kids love the one toy store there.

Grandpa was nice to share his Strawberry Shortcake...you gotta love Zack's smile with the whipped cream in his mouth!

Then came Saturday NIGHT!!!

My parents and Shelly took my kids for a fun night out on the town while Steve & I got to see this....

Yes, that is KENNY CHESNEY!!
and it was
AWESOME!!

He played at the Hard Rock Hotel at a place called The Joint. Steve & I got General Admission tickets & stood in line for about 2 hours, but ended up right by the stage in about the 5th row!! Our seats were right on the floor & it was standing room only, so our feet were very tired by the end of the night. I even have a blister on my toe, but it was so worth it. It was SO fun! He started playing at about 9:45pm and kept going until about 12:45am at the end he finally said, "that's all I got left Vegas!"

Happy Easter 2009

We had a fun & busy weekend....
It started Saturday morning at Grandma & Grandpa Peterson's house.
We had cinnamon rolls & a fun Easter egg hunt.

We also celebrated today at my parent's house.
